Got tired of not being able to see my hardware very well in my rosewill blackhawk. So I made a side window. I am very pleased with it since this was my first time really modding anything:)

is that glass or acrylic?

Looks nice. Im not sure i would have gone so low with the window though. but it is a really nice mod.

I used a sheet of optix acrylic I found at home depot:)

That's awesome! Damn, if only you lived in the U.K, I'd pay you to do a side window on the rear side panel of my Switch 810, I want to be able to see all of my home-sleeved red cables.

Its quite easy. Go to a hardware store and get a sheet of acrylic, tape your panel so you can draw on it, then draw the shape you want. Cut it out with a jigsaw, file it down, and attach the u channel rubber piece around. I got mine at an auto store, it was made to go on the edges of doors on vehicles and works well. Then just apply scotch clear double sided tape around (on the inside) and stick the acrylic to it. It's super strong!

DUDE, finally i see some one with the same case it really cool mod ive seen. i have a question though. how well does the nh-d14 fit in the case, also have you measured the height clearance for the cpu cooler? please reply back it will help me a lot. thank you :D

The d14 will fit no problem. You just can't use the fan in the side panel that is originally there. I just put that fan in the optical drive bay, if you use only one optical drive, you can put a fan there. I don't have the exact measurements but it fits without the fan.

I think it's a great case for what it costs. I don't think that there is another case with as much features for the same price.

i know this thread is old, but it might have saved my blackhawk

i was looking at swapping cases when i finally change from FX to Ryzen
but now im getting ideas, swap the mesh side for a window, make a custom PSU shroud, big top mounted radiator should have space for push-pull
