This is a bit of an interesting issue.  I sent my Acer S7-392 off to Acer for a battery problem (not knowing at the time that it was user replaceable /derp/), and when I got it back I did an OS reinstall because it was due anyway.  Now that I have reinstalled EVERYTHING I can think of, including all of the runtimes, Google Chrome will not register a click on a button to change an option.  It shows the hand with the index finger, and the link address at the bottom left of the page changes, but when clicked, it doesn't do anything.  The site(s) work just fine in IE and FF but not in Chrome.  The number one site it has been particularly annoying on is www.acura.com.  If you click MDX at the top of the page and then try to select different options, they will not change in chrome.

The above description may contain run on sentences and heavy confusion, but it is late and I'm frustrated. :)

Chrome issues are incredibly frustrating so I feel ya.

Try completely uninstalling chrome and then reinstall. I put emphasis on COMPLETELY b/c chrome leaves a lot of traces on your pc after uninstalling which cause problems to persist after a reinstall. Make sure to delete the directories in C:\program files x86 as well as uninstall "Google Update" (another program that is sometimes installed along with it) and also delete an extra folder for chrome that is stored in C:\users\"Your Name"\app data\ google (Do note that app data is a hidden folder so to view it head to folder options > view > show hidden files, folders in the windows explorer)  then run a registry cleaner (ccleaner is good) and also reboot the pc b4 reinstall.

I tried Mujteba's solution but it didn't work.  It still did the same thing after the reinstall.  I don't have the problem on other computers with chrome, just on this one.  I would switch to firefox, but the account integration with google across all 4 of my computers make chrome the obvious choice.
