How beefy GPU i should get with this PSU? I already have this PSU .
Going with i5 4460 and what GPU would fit nicely? R9 270 at least I hope?

my system takes 300watts under 100% load so you could in theory go with a 970.

Seems promising.

Tho budget is up to gtx 770 - r9 280x.

Well considering your processor would only take 84Watts (full load) you could pretty much get a graphics card with up to a 300 watt TPD (which is insane) so you could get pretty much any graphics card minus a GTX690 or R9-295X2

I've ran a 4770k (non-OC) and a gtx 780 ti on a 450W gold sfx Silvertstone psu but I think I pretty much pushed it to the max because I had some issues when starting up. It would freeze for a min or so on the log in screen of windows and then be fine after that. It wasn't there with a G3258 so I think the 4770k pushed it to the edge of what it is able to handle. Considering that I don't think a r9 280 would work since it is has the same TDP as a 780ti. I would go for a gtx 970 if you have the cash or a r9 270.
