You should be able to do that, as long as its a decent adapter/cable. I believe that amd card can only support 3 monitors using the correct ports, either hdmi or dp. I don't think both can be used.

Hello :)

 

I currently have 3 BenqGL2760H monitors. 

 

Each has VGA - HDMI - DVI inputs.

 

The MSI GTX 970 has Display port, DVI/VGA , DVI, HDMI

 

How can I connect each of these monitors up?

 

As I'm currently running a HD 7770 and it's running DVI-VGA > Monitor     HDMI > Monitor   DP-HDMI > monitor but it won't allow for three screens to be enabled for some reason.... 

 

So, I'm wondering whether I'm going to run into the same problem when my 970 arrives in the mail?

Dvi, dvi and hdmi. Pretty simple really.

Main RIg Corsair Air 540, I7 9900k, ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero, G.Skill Ripjaws 3600 32GB, 3090FE, EVGA 1000G5, Acer Nitro XZ3 2560 x 1440@240hz 

 

Spare RIg Lian Li O11 AIR MINI, I7 4790K, Asus Maximus VI Extreme, G.Skill Ares 2400 32Gb, EVGA 1080ti, 1080sc 1070sc & 1060 SSC, EVGA 850GA, Acer KG251Q 1920x1080@240hz

Thank you! But can I use HDMI/DVI/DP>HDMI ?

 

And why doesn't my current set up work? Is it because one monitor is using a DVI to VGA?
