Hii there,

I build PC for friends and his friends/family and they all want the fastest boot possible so I was researching the bestest Mainboard that has UEFI and Fastboot (no overclocking needed).

Since it depends what they want I have to choose from an Sockel 1150 or AM3+ and also the case they choose are sometimes mATX so my question is, what would you guys recomand for such Mainboards?

I always choosed those:

AM3+
- ATX: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
- mATX:

Sockel 1150
- mATX: MSI H81M
- ATX: Gigabyte GA-H97-HD3

Main Rig:
Mainboard: MSI Z270 Tomahawk Arctic | CPU: Intel Core i7 (7700k) @5GHz| RAM: Crutical Ballistix Sport LT (32GB) | GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 | Storage: SanDisk Ultra II (1TB) & Samsung 950 Pro (512GB) | PSU: Corsair RM550i | Case: Thermaltake Urban S31 (Snow)

Work Rig:
Mainboard: MSI H170A PC Mate | CPU: Intel Core i3 (6100T) @3.3GHz| RAM: Kingston HyperX 32GB | GPU: Intel HD Graphics 530 | Storage: Samsung 850 Pro (256GB) | PSU: Corsair RM650i | Case: Thermaltake Urban S31

They should all buy intel for anything to with gaming or editing. For simple webbrowsing and looking at pics the AM1 platform is ideal.

As for mobos, for 1150 i recommend:

mATX --> MSI B85 Gaming

ATX --> MSI H97 Gaming 3 or Asrock H97 Killer or Gigabyte G1 Sniper H6 (H97).

Spoiler

hehe yea I know ;) I often buy them an 120GB SSD and Intel i3 but yet, with an Mainboard without Fast boot it can take a while to boot or with the new technologie about uefi it starts even faster so future proof
