A/V Receiver Help?

Hey guys, so i have a Yamaha audio receiver that i bought off craigslist and it works great. the only complaint i have about this is that whenever i turn it on, the volume level defaults to +16 db....which can get pretty annoying causing me to have to turn it down everytime i want to use it. Does anybody know a way in which i can lower the default volume level? Thanks :)

Go to page 43 of your manual, which will show you how to get into your audio settings. Then go to 48 which shows you how to set your initial volume.

Something like
MENU> G)AUDIO SET> INITIAL VOLUME
And change from 16 dB to 4 or w.e you want.
