Hi. i decided to make my own desktop and im confused of what motherboard i would like to get,I dont know which to choose between The Maximus VII Ranger vs Sabertooth Z97 Mk.2
Im a gamer so which motherboard should i choose

The motherboard doesn't really affect performance. Motherboard choice comes down to the features you're looking for and possibly aesthetics.

If you don't need any special features, pretty much any motherboard compatible with your cpu will do.
