Duplicate displays - Performance hit?

Duplicates displays shouldn't affect performance.

Hi guys

If i hook my pc up to my monitor with dvi and my tv with hdmi showing the same image (Dublicating) would it decrease my performance then?

 

I got verticale lines when doing this with my gtx 770. I think you have to turn v-sync on or off.
