So my friend helped me to choose some parts for a budget build

CPU: Intel i3-4160

MOBO: MSI h97 pc mate

ram: Kingston hyperx 8gb

GPU: sapphire r9 260x

Storage: 1TB

PSU: 530W

wont be overclocking, games i play are not demanding (CS:GO/TF2)

Any advice with this build? c:

This is extremely close to what I built a friend and it's great for the money.

Also it's an r7 graphics card, not r9.

oops my bad.

Nah it's fine.

Also you could run well optimised games at 1080p on medium or high depending.

At 720p you should be able to put everything on high most of the time.

I don't think that apples here. He is asking for help, not a build.

Without actual part details and an understanding of the budget constraints it is very difficult to give advice. For example, what model psu? 530W is an odd size. It is difficult to make part suggestions, as requested, without knowing the budget.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I was worried about the power supply too.
