My first build

This is going to be my first build, and only for gaming.

Mobo - ASUS Maximus VII Hero
CPU - i5-4690K 3.5 Ghz - for cooling i chose Corsair Hydro 110

GPU - ASUS Strix GTX 970

RAM - Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB DDR3 2133Mhz CL9 

SSD - Samsung 850 Pro 256GB

HDD - Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200Rpm

Case - Corsair Graphite 760t

PSU - Corsair RM 650w

 

Let me now guys, what do u think about this setup?

Change the PSU to evga's 80+ gold and i'll take that set up over mine anyday

Depending on availability and how much the price is look at a EVGA G2 750W. It is way more wattage then you need but the RM serie has a mediocre build quality.

looks good but if you want to upgrade to more power hungry hardware in the futere go with a bigger psu

Well what kind of power hungry hardware? I don't have any plans for sli for example.

Well if you are not gonna SLI then 500-600W would be enough as intel and nVidia are both pretty power efficient. with a TDP of 225W and 88W for the I5 with the rest being redudant a 500-600W PSU would be fine. Still what is the price of a EVGA G2 750W compared to the Corsair RM 650W?

Well the EVGA is 38,200 HUF https://ipon.hu/webshop/product/evga_supernova_g2_750w/743915
and the RM is 37,500 HUF https://ipon.hu/webshop/product/corsair_rm_series_650w/514877
so there is not much difference in the pricing... it is around 5$ 

 

Should i go with the EVGA? But i wonder will the system (or the psu) take 750W? Or just take the amount that the system requires (the amount that you mentioned -> 225 for the gpu 88 for the cpu and the other stuff is minimal or at least much lower, right)?
