Windows doing weird stuff, need help.

Hello, i just came back from my Christmas holiday and wanted to play some games, i started up my computer and it loaded my desktop, all of my desktop items where gone, a few where still there, google would not open, i then installed the latest geforce driver and restarted my system, then still everything was gone exept for those that where still on the desktop, i did copy a new file on my desktop before restarting wich is also gone, i dont know what is happening, also my windows keyboard settings and others resetted themself, my pc specs are:

Intel i7 3770K

geforce gtx 780 lightning

gigabyte z77x-d3h

16GB of kingston ra

Try booting into safe mode and scanning with malwarebytes and windows defender, but maybe you can CHKDSK  before doing that.
