vote goes to the Intel X99 build

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Would help to know what the purpose of the build is, but without knowing more, of course X99, its not even a competition.

for gaming, swap out the x99 parts list with a 4770k or somthing

Would help to know what the purpose of the build is, but without knowing more, of course X99, its not even a competition.

Thanks guys. I want to use this build for CryEngine and a bit of video editing not something extra ordinary. Also, for I want it to be future proof so I can upgrade it as demands grow bigger.

There's no such thing as future proof. I suggest getting what you need now and saving any extra money for more frequent future upgrades.
