I'm curious in knowing what smart watch you think is the best under $150. I'm considering buying one and I want a good idea of what I'm getting into.

Honestly I would hold off and let smart watches mature. For $150 right now, your main options are the Pebble and the LG G watch. The G watch just isn't a good device, because of its terrible battery, screen, and design(no power button, corroding charging pins). The Pebble isn't bad(other than relatively high failure rates), its just that its becoming outdated and feels like an inferior device(like only being able to have 8 apps, the smudge magnet screen, and overly plasticy feel).
