As of today do I still need to do some work arounds to get the graphic goodies out of watchdogs?

AFAIK you still have to tweak it. It's no where near as bad as it was at launch.

nope works just fine for me at Ultra settings with 45fps rarely dipping to 30 at 1080p (MLAA i think also enabled)

Don't understand why they did the downgrade, they would of received so much praise for a good looking game.

So Ubisoft could show that the consoles are as "good" as pc

Works pretty good. But with SLI it is so bad that sometimes it becomes unplayable.

yea i noticed. with one 970 i get 45 ish at 1440 on ultra. enable sli and it remains the same only a stuttery mess

I get the problem where any rain drop or source of light is complete darkness.
