Will this Pc run?

Go to solution Solved by soup,

For a basic "will an 'A' run with a 'B' " type compatibility check use pcpartpicker.

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/ (note This is the UK version, but there is a wee drop down list where you can pick the most relevant country)

This should give you a list of all compatible products once you have picked one, assuming you have the compatibility filter on (it's on by default).

It will also tell you of any potential problems.

It will however let you buy things that physically don't fit(lack of clearance etc), it does have a disclaimer on the site though :-

* Some physical dimension restrictions cannot (yet) be automatically checked, such as cpu cooler / RAM clearance with modules using tall heat spreaders.

Hey Guys

Im new to pc building and i really want to get into it. To start off i want to make a more or less budget oriented build.

I just want to know if there are any compatibility issues (Chose wrong socket and such things) -> will it fit everything and will the pc run?

AMD FX 8320

Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P

XFX Radeon R9 270X DD

G.Skill Ripjaws Sniper (DDR3-1866)

Corsair CX600M

WD Green 1TB

Corsair Obsidian 450D (i know this is not really a Budget case but i want something to last so i can make new builds in it)

+I will be using a y-cable for the fans because the mobo has only 2 fan headers (excluding cpu fan) and the 450D has 3 built into it.

Thanks for your answer in advance and have a merry Christmas :)

Btw excuse my english im not a native :)
