Cant it play BF BC2?

My friend wasnt in gaming before so he has a laptop for now on which he wants to play BF BC2.

Specs are

i3 2350M comes with Intel HD 3000 256MB

2GB RAM(He might upgrade to 4GB)

I have read somewhere that if we force BF BC2 to run on Dx9,we can get playable FPS.

It will run but you will not have a good experience..

 

On 720p at lowest setting i thing you will be able to get 20-25 fps if you are lucky....
