MSI X99S Gaming 9 AC

Hello guys,

What do you guys think about this motherboard, have you seen any reviews onto this motherboard that supports the claims of the new features, such as stream engine and the enchanced audio being worth the extra 200-250$, compared to other X99 motherboards?

There is not a valid reason I can think of for a $450+  Gaming motherboard.

The 2011 platform is not for gamers, and if you are an enthusiast that wants what's best out there, then the $200-300 X99 offerings pack all the features you could need. The only reason to pay more is for a workstation that could use the extra Ethernet ports, better raid controllers, and tried and tested reliability and compatibility to ensure support for more extreme expansion.

At this pricepoint, you need to know what you want; better sound? A Fiio E10K will provide even more improved sound, high end Wireless connectivity? cards like the Asus PCE-AC86 are the best options, etc.

Thats true, must be brain farts for now, I'll just go back to my original plan of choosing a good motherboard that doesnt cost 500$.
