so when my GPU arrives (hopefully tomorrow) i will try and OC my CPU. what programs should i use fro stress testing/temp monitoring? so far i have AIDA64, PRIME95, CPUZ, and Memtest86 on a USB. anything else?

Use Aida64 and something like realtemp to monitor how it does. Don't use Prime95 with Haswell CPUs. 

 

I'd say do a 20 minute test with Aida64 to see if the clock is stable, then adjust till you're happy. Then do an hour or more test once you find a clock you're happy with.

i did some stress tests at stock speed and memtest stays at 30-33°C, Prime at 55° and i cant remember AIDA

Wow p95 don't use it, it overvots Hashwell by I thing 0.5 volts.

i thought that was only a problem when the voltage was set to adaptive
