Hello,

Greetings,

I want both of my barracudas in RAID 0,one is new and one is pretty old.The thing I wanted to ask was, will setting up RAID delete all of my data?

And also can I de-RAID them without loosing data?

Thank you.

yes when you build a RAID array

all the drives must be reformated

RAID 0 is very trickly to De-RAID

because the data is split and stored into 2 drives

You need to back up your current RAID 0 to another disk(s), image it or just save the files you have (which ever works for what you want to accomplish), the recreate the RAID Array with the new disk(s) and copy the files or image it back to the new array. No other way I have ever seen for RAID 0 unless you create it.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.
