Google and Youtube load super slow. Google searches take a minute to find results and Youtube videos buffer constantly. Then I click on Twitch and watch a stream at Source quality with no buffering at all and I am baffled. What is going on? Why only Youtube and Google?? Pls help!

Try a VPN service. Probably ISP throttling.

Some more shady isps *cough time warner cough* like to throttle certain sites pretty hard. Had a pal who was in general being throttled back from his 100mbs package to an avg 5mbs. Anyway what isps will do is bundle all of the people in a certain area whom are accessing the same site or same set of sites along a single bandwidth. So all the people access youtube and google, or facebook, or twitter are all bundled into little groups. It might just be that for your area so many people are on youtube/google that you have very little bandwidth left in that stream.

Yup, I have Time Warner. How can I fix this? I just want to watch YouTube while I do other things.

Easiest way to do it is to use a vpn so that time warner doesn't packet you with all the others watching youtube.
