Jbl 150 not loud

Go to solution Solved by Lutkeveld,

The Polk also has a lot more power to begin with. I wouldn't see the JBL's as an upgrade.

You can upgrade to a higher power amp, but I don't think you'll beat the Polk when it comes to loudness.

Hey guys, I just got my hands on a jbl 150 subwoofer but compared to my old polk psw110, it doesn't get nearly as loud. Is the polk one just better/louder than the jbl one or am I missing something?

They are active subs, input amp would not make much of a difference.
