Go to solution Solved by relwof,

I have just contacted ASUS, thanks everyone for their help :)

I have finished putting together my new PC

I have finished watercooling and putting in all the components..

I have turned it on and a Q code appears: 61 or B1?

How can I get my PC running?

Many thanks

I have:

intel 4930K

32GB Kingston HyperX Beast 2400Mhz DDR3

ASUS Rmapage IV extreme black edition moibo

2xEVGA GTX 980 hydro coppers

custom watercooling loop,

250GB Samsung SSD (EVO 240)

4TB WD black HDD

Please Help!!

Can you get into the BIOS at all? Did you do a test boot before you did your loop?

It may also be a good idea to reseat RAM. One of the mistakes that people often make is not clicking the RAM down all the way.

It might also be worth checking ALL the cables to verify that every single one is in properly.

I've never done a test build outside the case, and I've never had any issues with it.

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems

That shouldn't be the problem. As long as your monitor/TV is set to HDMI (if it has multiple inputs), it should pick up any signal that the PC is sending. You can always try different inputs if you want.

You could also try unplugging any unnecessary components, like the secondary HDD or a few RAM sticks (you will need at least one).

I'd boot without the gpu's, with intel hd graphics

This is an X79 build. There is no Intel graphics.

If any one of the RAM sticks are DOA (which would be rather unfortunate), the system wouldn't boot if the dead stick were installed. Changing which sticks are installed should allow you to verify that.
