New PC? No startup?

I have just contacted ASUS, thanks everyone for their help :)

I have finished putting together my new PC

 

I have finished watercooling and putting in all the components..

 

I have turned it on and a Q code appears: 61 or B1?

 

How can I get my PC running?

I have:

intel 4930K

32GB Kingston HyperX Beast 2400Mhz DDR3

ASUS Rmapage IV extreme black edition moibo

2xEVGA GTX 980 hydro coppers

custom watercooling loop,

250GB Samsung SSD (EVO 240)

4TB WD black HDD

something dosent want to run  or maybe you forgot to put cpu power,mb power and so on or something is wrong wight gpu,s so try putting 1 out and test im mean you shoad do a test boot wight some cheap cooler or if it comes wight stock one  before but try taking gpu's out(1 then boot than put back in than take other 1 than run pc and do it wight ssd and hdd or something like that

try turning the pcie lanes or take gpu out and try boot that is all i can say if it dosent work to bad but its something wight memory of sort not sure but  i think its gpu  cpu ram or board (Dont think that hdd ssd and psu have to do something wight it and try a difrent psu it might work)

It may also be a good idea to reseat RAM. One of the mistakes that people often make is not clicking the RAM down all the way.

 

It might also be worth checking ALL the cables to verify that every single one is in properly.

 

Did you not do a test build outside the case?

 

I've never done a test build outside the case, and I've never had any issues with it.

Ive got the PC connected to a HDMI? is that why Im getting no signal?

That shouldn't be the problem. As long as your monitor/TV is set to HDMI (if it has multiple inputs), it should pick up any signal that the PC is sending. You can always try different inputs if you want.

You could also try unplugging any unnecessary components, like the secondary HDD or a few RAM sticks (you will need at least one).

I'd boot without the gpu's, with intel hd graphics

 

This is an X79 build. There is no Intel graphics.

 

so if I leave in 1 RAM stick?

 

If any one of the RAM sticks are DOA (which would be rather unfortunate), the system wouldn't boot if the dead stick were installed. Changing which sticks are installed should allow you to verify that.
