I recently got a Msi gtx 970. Super excited to get it, I started to slowly OC it. No increase In voltage, just power % and adding mhz. I was getting like 130-160 fps on bf3 1080p. Im not positive on when it happens, but a short while after,things went south. I had a really good overclock to 1450 mhz on the core with a 10% power limit increase. Stable for plenty of games, and more then a day of no issues. I started to get a frame drop, and dots in a square pattern all over the screen, happening in other games too.I completely dropped the oc , and it still happens.

These happen within same time frame.

ACU is a different story. Played fine for first few days, then I started to see white squares over Arno, so I turned the oc from 1450 to like 1350. Still happened. Dropped completely, no fix. Then with no oc, I still got white squares along with a brand new bug. White flashing circles all over the place. Eventually it got to the point where the game crashes before I can get to the loading screen.

Should I RMA it?

that looks like a bad card.................. I would reset cmos to get system back to "normal"................... the suggestion of under clocking................... that would be strictly for the gpu............... under clock the ram by at least 100 and under clock the gpu's cpu by at least 100 to see if that helps at all. ....... that's that thing under the heat sink on the video card........ video cards have processor too. ( use the nvidia over clocking program.... (whatever it's called) to lower the clocks).

gpu = graphics processing unit

cpu = central processing unit

I know that the what a cpu is lol and where it is, i just misunderstood because you just said ram, not gpu ram. I used MSI afterburner to underclock and it did not help, so should i RMA it? I also took off my CPU's oc and dropped the ram from 1600mhz to 1330, just to try it.

if you under clocked the card ram and processor ( not system ) and you have an adequate power supply ( i'm going by the first piocture-don't know what I'm supposed to see in the second ).......... yes, swap card. rma".   do you have any other card to run besides that one?

On the second picture, you are supposed to see the rectangular spots of light just above and to the left of my gun, also seen near the top of the picture. Look in the shadows. Also, yes. I have a MSI 7770 that i used to run in my system without artifacts. I actualy did get a glitch with that one that i am getting with this one. BF3 crashes and i get a popup saying "GetDeviceRemovedReason" and then says a bunch of junk, but no artifacts. Also, i have a really good psu, its a EVGA supernova 850.
