600T Fan Controller

Ok im replacing my prodigy with a 600T and custom W?C loop on a Z77 Sabertooth.

Anyway can anyone predict my results if i use the fan controller on the case as i dont need it to control fans, and use it to control 12v LEDs?

If it is possible i could then possibly have an easy switch for  the leds i would like to use in and around the case!

I would use the fan controller for the leds but not the fans, my H100 and my motherboard can run the fans at lower speeds than the fan controller.
