BTW your motherboard is black/blue and your ram is red here is a blue version of that ram G.Skill Ripjaws X Series this is 1866 ram which is a little faster but in blue for the x series 1600 and 1866 are the same price

Not just failure rate went up, but also read/write speeds went down. WAY down. Avoid it.

 

As far as the original question, 500W is actually a bit overkill. You could make do with the CX430 PSU and still have room to spare.
