Stock ROM. ROOT. halp

Greetings, ive searched high and low nad tried everything from throwing to smashing. and it still wont root. anyone got the slightest idea how i can get this phone rooted?.

I trier SRSroot didnt do much good. 

i have unlocked the bootloader tho.

have you installed your adb and fastboot drivers? If so flash a custom recovery and then flash supersu http://download.chainfire.eu/641/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.40.zip

yep. otherwise i wouldn't be able to unlock the bootloader no ?

and that would work for my version 4.4.2?. 

lets say i want to get CWD or another room that wouldn't interfere with the root ?

CWM? if you download a custom rom they usally have root already. and if they dont just flash that zip

i doubt but might as well backup when youve installed you recovery

now that thats over iguess we can get back to "SAFELY" installing from shady sites again.

What do you mean "shady sites". Also i use 4EXT with smart flash for flashing my stuff but you dont have that yet i think so id recommend twrp

yes. and load it with cyanogen. this was so much easier on my S3 lol. pretty much all automated. with the htc one max on the other hand turning out to not be so easy

it is when you know how to do it. 

1. download you rom and gapps
2. boot into TWRP and flash your rom and gapps and supersu
3. if s-on boot into fastboot
4. extract kernel from rom zip 
5. type fastboot flash boot <name of kernel>.img
6. reboot
