Infinite Windows Licenses?

Well, I have about 10 disks laying around.  My cousin is a computer engineer for Microsoft so we get the family and friends discount.  He says we can sell PC's preinstall and activated but cannot give away the disks.  Something I've noticed.  If you use the automative system and say 0 when they ask how many PC's it's been installed on, it says verified and gives you a new installation ID.  You'd think their system would kick it.

Literally just went through this with my Win8 Pro 64 bit student edition.

Twas a painful process, but I said 0 because it's actually installed on 0.

Really? I've done it probably a few dozen times (I sell a lot of PC's).  Only takes 2-3 minutes.

Ive noticed it takes much longer on an HDD over an SSD. Also longer to install on a driver with an OS already on it for obvious reasons.

Where does it ask how many computers its installed on? Is that a specific installer for manufacturers and distributors?

When I enter in the license it says its used, try a new key, purchase a new key, call Microsoft, or automative system (calling)

Its like $250 for Win7 Pro vs $99 for Win8 Pro. I hate how crazy the difference is.

Phone activation has always worked for me. Although, I've been made aware by a friend who used my key that the phone activation failed. Afaik, I had the same copy installed on 5 computers, at least 2 of which were used simultaneously. She used the key for a few more computers (don't know how many). I usually say the OS is installed on 1 computer though and it worked for the most part; should try 0 next time.
