How many Watts do I need?!?

Go to solution Solved by RazrLeaf,

You won't even break 400W max with that build, but the selection of reputable power supplies with that wattage is minimal, while there are many ~500W  PSUs from reputable companies.

My personal suggestions (I find these brands quite good and reasonably priced in the US, but YMMV in Egypt):

Any Seasonic

Super Flower Leadex (if they're in your market)

XFX XTR or TS series (though their discontinued PRO series is also quite good)

Cooler Master VSM (Linus considers it STD worthy)

I'm building a new PC and I don't know how many Watts I need to get?And what's the best Power Supply I can get?

Intel Core i5-4690K (will not overclock)

Asus Z97-A

Cosair Vengeance 8GB (2X4GB) DDR3 1600mHz

Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 DDR5 4GB

WD Blue 1TB

Samsung 840 Evo 120GB SSD

NZXT CA-S340W

Let me know if I would need like 500W 80 Plus Bronze? Or a 600W?

Thank you

If you are not overclocking, drop the 4690k and the Z97 mobo and get an i5-4460 and a H97 motherboard.

You'll need approximately 500W, not more than that, so, if the budget allows, get a XFX 550W/650W XTR ;)

either buy a 600W psu or check this site to be more accurate

600 Watt is just stupid. Almost no single GPU build in 2014 will need a 600 Watt PSU.

I've run a similar setup off a 500W psu (i5 4440 Asus, h87m pro, no SSD are the difference) and had no troubles (though the psu was a bit warm). If you can, get yourself a 600-650W 80+ PSU. It may be more than is needed, but if a psu is operating at significantly below its possible total output (I know efficiency drops off a bit outside 50%-80% load) it will last a long time.
