Hi!

What is the difference between Push Pull vs Push?

Can I get any benchmark numbers or are there anyone who already tested it and can say mainly the Temperature differences?

Why am I asking?

Because it costs much to buy 6 Noctua PPCs to a 360mm radiator. Or shoud I cool down to 3? maybe?

Or maybe is it worth to get 6 of them if I can afford it?

Why Noctua PPCs? Overpriced, yes?, why? For maximum preformence. They are probably the best fans on rads and probably better then SPs.

It depends what your definition of "worth" is. Typically it's a few C from what I usually see. So maybe your max temp would be 70c Push but 67c Push Pull. It's not like your going to be getting 15C difference. It will help out but if you don't feel like spending 60$ on a second set of Noctua fans it's probably not necessary unless you really feel you need the extra cooling. I wouldn't say you would get more than 5c difference.

E-loops, typhoons, noiseblockers exist...perform the same and are 2/8 of the price of noctuas

If you have fans with good static pressure, there will be a minuscule difference, however, if you have your average case fan, push/pull will create more static pressure therefore giving you lower temps.

I recommend pull because it's easier to clean your radiator and save you, what, $60 in fans?

Pull is not good because 20% of the air is mostly pulled from the side of the radiator not through the radiator. It don't make a big temp difference but anyways.

Yeah but noctuas are PWM and they look so good and are quiter then those. But I will check them out. I do not have a experience with them since some of those fans you said are not sold on the retailers i trust in sweden. And they are ugly:/ It is not my taste

Btw, The kelvin S36 comes with 3 pressure optimized 1700 rpm fans. I was thinking I maybe put 3 of the Noctua PPCs as push and the stock fans which are 1700 rpm as pull?

Would that be a good idea or the RPM difference would make some problems?

thoughts?

what do this suppose to mean? I personally do not trust random websites expecially on DB. Also the 41 DB is on 3000 rpm. and I am sure it will not always go on 3000 rpm

Also I do not care if you think I am wasting money. I buy premium components then I wan't premium cooling.

They're not random websites. First one is aquatuning and the other is noctua's official site.

okay. Anyways I like Noctuas more...

I just wan't answer on the question:D but thx for recommendation...

I sat up a poll

Btw do someone of you knows a guy which are skilled in cooling solutions on the forums?

Really it's if you have the head room to allow for fans to be in push/pull in your case, but like it's been mentioned if you have good fans in push there isn't really going to be a huge difference in temps.

Will have the best onces. Noctua PPCs ofc..

But do you think it would work to do push pull with the stock fans + new fans even if there is RPM differenses

Sat up a poll btw

Pull is not good because 20% of the air is mostly pulled from the side of the radiator not through the radiator.

Actually there is hardly any difference in performance between push and pull. And pull makes cleaning much easier, so I actually prefer pull.

Push/pull is a waste of money most of the time (especially when pairing high static pressure fans with slim or low FPI rads).

Going push/pull allows you to run your fans at a lower rpm which means less noise, I'm going push/pull for this reason and for this reason only. To go push pull for 1ºc-2ºc is pretty much a silly thing to do unless you want less noise and you're going balls the the walls performance, you would be better just getting more rad space.
