So it's been a month already since this problem hit me. My internet was fine, until I came across this issue called "Packet Loss". I haven't seen any

improvements to my internet lately.. and I am using a wireless adapter.

Please tell me the solution to fixing this problem  :D

Try a wired connection / moving closer to your router as you started it is / could be packet loss

Wireless adapters inherently drop packets. Its inevitable as interference from other devices running at 2.4Ghz happens all the time. Linus did a video about this a while back.

You have 2 options to alleviate the problem:

1. (If your wireless adapter allows it) Run your wireless adapter and router at 5Ghz. You will experience hardly any interference at this frequency.

2. Use a wired connection.

Also, try setting the WAP to a different channel with less interference.
