I am going to be sleeving my Corsair AX1200i when I get it, and the cables that I am going to sleeve are the 24 pin, 8 and 4 pin EPS, 8 and 6 pin PCI-E, any some other cables.... Which sleeving kits should I get? I will be individually sleeving it, and I would like to buy the sleeving from FrozenCPU. Is the corsair pre-sleeved kit worth it? I am limited to 2 days to build my PC, and to leak test my watercooling system. The colors I would like to get are white and red. I might sleeve the cables with both white and red...

If I weren't lmited by time, what would be the best kit? I might want to sleeve it later on if I dont buy the Corsair kit.

What do you mean by kit? If you want to go custom, you would have to buy the parts individually (ATX pin remover, sleeve, heatshrink, heatgun etc). Not sure if you can buy an actual all-in-one "kit".

Thats what I mean. I just call them kits because it's a shorter way to say it.... Sorry for the confusion.

Ah right - i'm with you. The 'best' is dependent upon what type of sleeving you want - paracord, MDPC, or something different. MDPC is widely considered to be the best of the best; however, you can only buy it from one person located in Germany (Nils) he's an awesome guy and i have dealt with him several times. Head over to his site here. It's a little hard to buy, but once you work it, it's pretty straight forward. In terms of tools, buy cheap, buy twice. Again, Nils @ MDPC, provides the best pin removers in my view, but they are expensive.

FrozenCPU, i believe, you can also buy similar pin removers; but i'm not sure how good in terms of quality they are as i have never had personal use with them. Heatshrink (if you want), again can be bought from MDPC, but can equally be sourced elswhere and probably more local to you.

EDIT: Just saw that Link above and just remembered that Lutro0 also provides the same tools; so it may be an idea to look at his shop. Here.

Which size diameter should I go if I want to individually sleeve a cable? How about double braid like Linus did? Also, are the Bitspower Super Tight Weave decent? http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l2/g35/c535/list/p1/SleevingHeatshrink-Bitspower_Super_Tight_Weave.html?id=DSUZzaeK&mv_pc=2720

I'm pretty sure 1/16" should be alright; but don't quote me on that as i don't know for definite. If you want double braid, then get a large OD.

What color sleeving goes well with a red, white, and black themed pc build?

I have MDPC sleeving too and I love it, and Nils' service is great! however it is a little pricy..

Lotro0 customs has his own shop with both paracord sleeving and sleeving similar to what Nils is offering. his site is, www.e22.biz

This guy has also made some pretty sweet sleeving tutorials on youtube! :)

(Comming soon)

I would stick with the main three colours keep it nice a coordinated :D

If you were to pick 2 colors, which 2 would you pick? I would pick white with red.

Alright. Thanks for your help guys, I will buy some Bitspower Super Tight sleeving, because it is sold in the same site as my watercooling stuff. I will then make some time then I will sleeve them. :)
