GTX 970 reference cooler temps

Go to solution Solved by Mick Naughty,

If they are anything like the last gen, in a single card config with great airflow, you should be 5-8 degrees Celsius higher.

I use a phanteks enthoo pro with stock fans and a corsair h110 exhausting out the top pushed forward into the optical drive area using its stock fans in a pull config, leaving a currently empty 140mm fan slot next to the stock exhaust fan. All fans except the radiator fan closest to the front of the case are plugged into the case's fan controller which is plugged into the CPU Fan 1 slot on my motherboard (MSI x97) SLI PLUS, the 2nd further away radiator fan is currently plugged into one of the system fan slots on the mb (don't know which one). Of the two HDD cages, only the bottom one is in.  I tried to be as descriptive as possible with my airflow setup, if i missed anything or you have any questions let me know

I use the Gigabyte G1 Gaming Windforce

Running Far Cry 4 at 1080p on ultra I hit a max of 57c, its a rather recent build and haven't played many other gpu intensive games

Edit: well now that i typed that all out i realize he was asking about a reference cooler, and not a non reference

im a idiot
