Hey guys, new poster here.

So I've built my 1st pc in the past few months but am having a bit of trouble with my wireless adapter. It works properly but only when the Igpu on my pentium G3258 is used as the main display driver in lieu of my r9270X. I think the issue might be that the GPU is taking power from the pci slot when idle (as soon as the screen turns off the adapter will start functioning properly) and the adapter isnt left with enough to function correctly. Heres a quick parts list to see if it raises any red flags.

Mobo: Asrock Z97 Extreme 4

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 OC to 3.8ghz

Graphics card: Gigabyte windforce R9 270x using a single 8 pin to dual 6+2 pin for power.

Storage: 512GB Crucial MX100 and a WD Green 1TB

Ram: Corsair Vengeance low profile 1X8GB CL10 1600Mhz

Case: Nzxt phantom 410

PSU: Corsair CS750

Everything is plugged in correctly but im not sure what can be done to fix this if something needs fixing. Any advice would be greatly appriciated.

Edit: Forgot to add the wireless adapter........ its a Tp link wdn 3800
