I have some problems with my internet right now. My download speed has gone down. The story I built a new computer last month and since I had it I had the problem (only on new computer). I use to have 15-20 mbps download and now I'm averaging about 2mbps with huge delays. I also shared my cellular LTE to my computer and I was averaging 35-40 mbps, I know it has nothing to do with my network card. I tried disabling the firewall it didn't change anything I did the flushdns, registerdns I'm always on a 5 bar connection and even my connection speed is 144mbps. It might be something that I missed, here are all the information I can give:

Question time..

1) how do you know its an issue with the DNS servers?

2) is it just the new machine having issues, or are all devices connected to the network experiencing slowdowns?

3) Have you tried connecting the PC directly via Ethernet?

4) have you tried resetting the modem and/or router?

Thanks I was trying to avoid using google DNS servers because for some reasons it was throtling my connection speed (was getting 2mbps download). Now it  seems to work perfectly, I don't know why, I'm getting 30+ mbps download. Thanks
