I need an external hard drive for my mac, preferably with a lot of memory, around 500gb+ could have less if its worth it.

Plus keep it budget friendly please :) thank you!

What are you planning on using your external drive for? Do you have any preference on the type of connection (USB2.0, USB 3.0, Thunderbolt, etc.)? Do you have any programs or specific minimum speed in mind? Do you have any specific budget in mind?
If you point me in a direction, I could suggest something more specific.
 
I could suggest checking out WD's external storage for Mac and see if anything suits your needs. 
 
You can always get a simple enclosure and use an internal HDD or SSD or use a bunch of them with a docking station. I really is up to your preferences. :)
