New build dilemma

So here is my problem/story - bear with me

So I have already bought a 3570k CPU (£115) and have now found that the motherboards i want are quite expensive (any Z77 Matx like AsRock Fatal1ty Pro-M £100) however i could return my 3570k and buy a 4670k (£155) and buy a motherboard i have found for £55 (G1 Sniper M5) to go with it, however in order to return my 3570k i would have to buy a new stock cooler (£10), so that i can get a full refund.

Any idea? Would be much appreciated!
