Well the PC parts market did not behave exactly the way I anticipated for the holiday season, but kind of. RGB Mechanical Keyboards seem to be the "Tickle Me Elmo of PC Parts" this year which I did not see coming at all. I was right about SSD price drops though and with SATA Express coming, it seems like this was a big push for SATA III SSD sales. More specifically Samsung who almost cut their prices in half on the EVO/840/850's. Most likely we will see SATA III prices slashed even further once Z170 arrives.

Who cares? Anyone trying to save money I guess! I'm just trying to spread my way of thinking to anyone else who may be on a tight budget. Once you have been buying PC parts long enough you start to see patterns in the way the market works. I may seem like a rogue for buying an ASUS GTX 780 for $300 when the 900's hit but oh well! I am just as much of a PC parts enthusiast as anyone could be...so it about killed me with the 970's so cheap.

I thought Broadwell would arrive in time for Santa, I was mistaken...maybe tax time! Will anyone upgrade to Broadwell?! Z170 LGA 1151 for Skylake seems like the next platform worth thinking about. UniDIMM allowing boards to use DDR3 or DDR4 was a smart move on Intel's part. Thanks again to some of the guys here for helping me to understand DDR4 better. I am a little worried about Intel's plan to make all PC's wireless/cable free and how that could effect some performance but 802.11ac x 7 sounds fast as hell. Skylake-E (with PCIe 4.0) will probably take forever to get here. I'm guessing 2016 or 2017? I just love PC parts and planning ahead so I apologize if I'm too much of an enthusiast for some people here.

Does anyone know of a 140mm friendly computer case that allows 280mm radiator mounting with push/pull in the front of the case? It would have to have modular hard drive cages unless it's huge like Nanoxia DS6. I was looking at NZXT H630, Fractal Design Define R5, and Nanoxia DS6 (HEAVY!). My plan for my own build is to go straight SSD's and use an external 4TB backup hard drive for all my music and movies. I wish some case manufacturer would build my cube case concept with interchangeable panels already. CM and NZXT gave me the brush off...but now Fractal is considering it...hopefully. Keep your fingers crossed because the case is a PC builder's dream come true.

That is all for now...end of line.

Why don't you build you idea and if people like it you could make a petition. Also do you have any renderings?

That's good advice and I would love to create it myself but it would require tools that I don't have and manufacturing that I am not capable of. I did a rough sketch on graph paper but I really need someone that knows 3D CAD or something. I'm pretty sure it would be an instant favorite case for many although not all. The original idea is kind of big but it would be simple to do the same thing with a smaller mATX-mITX for those who like that kind of case.
