Greetings everyone!

I've decided to try and build a pc on my own for the very first time and I'd like to take some advices, where I'm wrong. (Also, I apologise for any language mistakes but I'm Greek :P ) The purpose of the PC is heavy gaming, some video editing and music/video recording. I'll buy a sound card for music rec ofcourse, I destroyed my previous pc when I tried to record directly from my drum brain -.-

So, the ''components'' of the build are:

PC Case: CoolerMaster HAF XM

Case Fans (with the pre-installed): 4x Coolermaster MegaFlow 20 (one in front as intake, two in top as exhaust, one in side as intake), and 2x Corsair SP140 in the HDD cages as intake also (I've seen in a video review of the HAF XM that 2x140 fans can be ''mounted'' on the cages)

CPU: i5 4690K (which I'm planning to overclock in the future)

CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H80i with a Coolermaster sickleflow fan for exhaust

Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 or a Gigabyte B85-HD3

VGA: Asus GeForce GTX 760 (Planning to buy another one ang go SLI)

RAM: Kingston BS 2x4GB

PSU: Corsair CX 750M Modular 80+ Bronze

SSD: Sandisk 120GB

HDD: Toshiba DT01ACA100 1TB

CD/DVD Drive: Samsung DVD-RW SH-224DB/BEBE Black Bulk

Last but not least, UPS: Bitmore UPS Line U850 850VA

Well, I believe that's all..I'd like to thank you all in advance for spending time to read my post and (if you do) answering!!

Anyway, every opinion's welcome :D

Hm, ok, got it, thanks! What about the rest?

Case is a personal choice. Great CPU + cooler. The graphics card is normally referred to as a GPU - as far as I'm aware it's a good one. I'm not sure about the Kingston 'BS' ram but they are a reputable brand. PSU is a good brand might be a little overkill though. SSD seems good. HDD people normally go with 1TB seagate barracuda or western digital blue because they are usually cheap so not really sure about it. I don't know what a UPS is :S

Edit: Just googled UPS - I have no knowledge about them though so can't help you with that.

Oh, I've seen people reffering to the GPU as VGA and I was a little confused about what is right and what is wrong :P Actually, a friend of mine has these rams and they look pretty good! Hm.. I guess I'll think about buying the wd blue.. Nevermind, thanks :D

Budget? I would suggest something like an R9 290 or a GTX 970 and lowering the Power supply to 600/650w

the rest is pretty good

I don't know, around 1200 at max.. But, the thing is that I can't find many components, for example the gtx970 is not available anywere around here :/ And I'd like an nVidia gpu :P

Also, the r9 290 is 150 euros more expensive than the gtx 760 :P

a gtx 760 is nowhere near a 290. the 290 is like two times better. i think you could spend more on a single card instead of going SLI
