I don't know much about wireless adapters....BUT (and this is just a guess here), unless your router is on the other side of the house, and you're expecting a shitty to no signal at all, I'd say thats way overkill. I'd assume a simple $20~ pci adapter would be just as good.

My router is down stairs connected to my mom's pc, signal is about 3 -4 bars in my room. So i'm not sure. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833704133&cm_re=wireless_adapter-_-33-704-133-_-Product is this a better option?

Price/performance I'd say it's much better especially since youre not struggling to get a signal. But as I said before, I don't know much about wireless network adapters/their performance/the best one.

update: so i'm in my room and youtube constantly cant load the vids and stuff, so you guys think its worth the 100 bucks?
