My Build Plan

Go to solution Solved by WoodenMarker,

How about something like this:

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/17gzv

Talk about breaking the budget...

Here you go: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/17v1K

You should be able to record fine onto the 7200 rpm drive if you put your game on the ssd.

8 cores will make recording, editing and rendering a breeze. I wanted to put in 16gigs of ram but Windows 7 didn't let me.

You should be able to play most games on high settings with the 7870.

I'm in the UK and I'm gonna be 16 this year :) my mum and dad agreed to get me a gaming PC :D so my budget is £5-600.

I do some gaming with my friends but I also do youtube I have a channel and the main thing holding me back is fps lag while recording consecutively so I'd like a machine with the ability to record, render and edit better than my macbook pro :D I plan on using only one monitor but I will probably upgrade to two eventually and i've got a mouse, keyboard montior etc. my only worry is that I haven't got windows and it's pretty expensive <_< so I'd like some help putting together a build :D

Console optimisations and how they will effect you | The difference between AMD cores and Intel cores | Memory Bus size and how it effects your VRAM usage |
How much vram do you actually need? | APUs and the future of processing | Projects: SO - here

Intel i7 5820l @ with Corsair H110 | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 1600Mhz | XFX Radeon R9 290 @ 1.2Ghz | Corsair 600Q | Corsair TX650 | Probably too much corsair but meh should have had a Corsair SSD and RAM | 1.3TB HDD Space | Sennheiser HD598 | Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro | Blue Snowball

You can run a 7870 off of a cx430 fine. A xfx 450w bronze is more than enough.

Wow :o I am completely shocked that you managed to fit so much into my budget :D you should have seen my face, so I looked around amazon myself and would getting the 7870 Black be better ?

I don't think so. The one fan on the Black wouldn't cool as well as the dual fans on the Sapphire card which would mean less overclocking room.

It doesn't matter too much which 7870 you get. I just look at all the 7870, 780 xt's, 7870 ghz editions, and pick the cheapest one.

If there's one a few pounds more with a better cooler or is a xt or ghz edition instead of plain, I'd opt for that.

You should be manually overclocking it with Msi afterburner anyway so the cooling is the most important part once you've figured out your gpu.
