Refurbished laptops?

Hey guys, with Christmas coming up, I have a few questions regarding laptops. So, first of all, is it a good idea to get refurbished laptop from Newegg? What is the best laptop under 500$ that I can play CS:GO with at over 60fps? If it is alright to get a refurbished laptop then I am alright with getting a refurbished one. Thanks for your help guys! You're beautiful!

I once had a refurbished Asus Transformer book T100. It worked great. I took it back because I couldn't get Linux to work on it (This was when the new release of the Intel Atom processor was, so it wasn't really supported as well)
