GPU Overclocking Question

Hey guys,

 

I am trying to overclock my GPU. It is a EVGA GTX 780 SC with ACX Cooler. 

 

Using MSI Afterburner I bumped the power limit to 106% percent and the core clock to 1055 MHz. With those settings applied I run FurMark and GPU-Z says my core clock is only around 927 MHz during the test.

 

 

It should't be thermal throttle because the temps were at 72C.

 

Why is it doing that and how can I fix it?

Maybe it has to do with your power limit being at 106 % not sure I don't use that slider only the other two
