NOTICE: Didn't exactly know where to post this. Mods feel free to move :)

Anyways. Looking for 8.1 but I have a small wallet after my PC lol. Saw people post this on the forums

http://www.reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap/comments/2osc5a/h_windows_7_8_81_windows_server_office_visio/

Has anyone bought it? Legit or nah? How fast are they?

Additional question. When I buy it from him, I download the ISO, download the Bootable USB thingy from microsoft, plug in my USB (do i have to do something to it?), insert the ISO and I'm ready to plug it into my new PC? What's the steps? If there's a video, I would really appreciate it.

once you create a bootable usb with the iso on it restart your pc select the boot drive and it should load into the installation jsut like if you install from a disc

yep, it's usually a very quick and safe process :) I would definitely vouch for it

-snip-

The two links you showed has different methods. (IE: The article says to do format fs=ntfs quick and the video says to do some commandFAT32. Is that because it's windows 7 and windows 8.1?) Sorry about being over protective. Just wanna learn lol.

Alright I have a better understanding. I have one last question. When I'm done making the USB and plug it into my PC do I still have to go in BIOS to change the boot order to the USB first even though it is a fresh new computer? And after installing do I change the boot order of the USB or am I fine.
