GPU for photo editing

What would be a good GPU for Adobe Photoshop. I know its not too demanding and it would be web browsing and PS only. I was thinking 750 or 760. Thoughts, hes not playing games (For someone else)

I would get a amd r9 270 or r720x because they are similar to the 750 and 760 but are much cheeper

if there is a decent cpu to handle the "chores at hand" you could get away with the on board graphics. please list specs.

 

Sorry I was off doing something. Building this for a friend so don't know for sure but its mostly just touch up or adding a filter like making it into the sketch or turning the contrast up. Basic PS work I guess. Examples below, he does most of his work on an iMac right now but I told him I could build him something that would be a conversation piece.

For just basic Photoshopping a GTX 750 would be fine for him :) If he was to go overkill on anything though I would suggest he gets 16GB's of RAM since when I am editing in Photoshop CC and I have over 20 tabs open in Chrome I frequently run out of my 8GB of RAM.

Pretty much any modern graphics card that isn't absolute crap would be fine for that.

it doesn't take much to overlay/tint/merge/colorize, etc. if the cpu is top notch I wouldn't worry about a card. but as noted on a couple of threads........ small is okay if you think you might need one, or feel you need to buy one.  Even an AMD 250 or 250x would be more than fine. I have a paint program and mess with a lot of jpg images and other types and conversions. My cpu really makes the difference. ( Intel xeon ) lesser cpu's will run the work slower. Since I run "big" cards and don't relly rely on on board anymore I can't tell you difference in speed any more but am sure it can't be a lot.
