I just upgrade my rig a few days ago and got a Asus Z97M-Plus on the assumption that I'd be able to shove a plextor M6e M.2 drive in the mobo.

But I just looked and noted that its not on ASUS's compatibility list and that when I checked on PC part picker (I use PriceSpy since I live in NZ) that it says a B&M SSD needs a B&M Socket.

I figured B&M was compatible with just M because the notches would work but now I'm concerned about if theres an actual pin difference that will make it incompatable.
