Windows 8 Pro cannot boot - Error 0xC000021a

So, I get home from school and go to log onto my computer.  It turns on and then sits at a black screen.  I can get into the bios fine.  sometimes I can get to the login menu, but when I try to log in it either says CRS failed to load or just resets to the login screen.  I also sometimes have it go to the sideways smily face and get that error code. Help Please?

Download Seagate SEATools or WD Data Lifeguard. They have versions you can use to create a bootable flash drive or bootable CD. Once that's made, boot to the media and run the full diags. This will tell you if it's the HDD or not. If it's not, then look for your system recovery disk and we'll try a few more things.

Okay then. Do you have a recovery disc? If so, boot to that and see if automatic repair can find anything.
