Func ms-3 r2 mac compatible?

For Christmas i was going to get the func ms-3 r2 for my dad because of his huge fingers but he often uses windows 7, hackintosh, and linux occasionally. my question is the mouse compatible with mac? it says its plug in play but i would like to be sure before i spend the money on the mouse. can anybody help me?
