I`am starting my build but i`am not 100% sure if a Corsair CSM 550W 80+ Gold PSU is enough for this parts

AMD FX-8350

Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

MSI 970 GAMING ATX AM3+ Motherboard

Kingston Fury Black Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600Mhz

Asus GeForce GTX 760 2GB DirectCU II GPU

PNY Optima 240GB SSD

Would probably be enough as the recommended for a 970 is 500 watt or something. If this was a fully AMD build it would be cutting it but it is probably gonna last. If you put it in pcpartpicker you get an estimated wattage and this gives you a nice indication of how close you are gonna be.

Edit: thought it was a 970 GPU but a 760 does a bit more still probably gonna be able to run it as it still consumes less then a AMD GPU. Can still try to put it in pcpartpicker.

Last Edit: estimated wattage is around 400 so you are gonna be fine. Get another SSD I read reviews and they say fast, but a lot of cons like it failing and problems with drivers. What is the price for that and what is the price for a MX100 or a Samsung 840?

That will be fine mate.

A decent 450W would just cut it, but that 550W Gold psu will have no problem powering that setup.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses
