Hey Everyone

I am building a new PC and have picked the parts. I'm just posting to see what feedback you all have on my choices.

CPU: AMD A8 7600 @3.1Ghz (3.8Ghz Turbo, I plan to adjust the base clock)

Motherboard: MSI A78M E45 FM2+ Socket

PSU: Corsair CX500 500W (Plenty of extra wattage for future upgrades)

GPU: MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozr 2GB GDDR5

HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB (As good as HDD's get in my opinion)

RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance Low Profile Blue 1866Mhz (2x 4GB so dual channel)

Case: Cooler Master CN-251

Extra 120mm Fan

Thermal Paste (Cooler Master Obviously..)

I will be using a stock AMD CPU cooler at first (please don't kill me) but will soon be buying a Hyper 212 Evo

I wouldn't get an APU along with dedicated graphics that strong

Agreed, don't bother with an APU if you plan to get a 760.

Good point, I am aware about the strong performance of the AMD A8 (A6& A10 also) APU series and the fact that it will go to complete waste in this build. However the reason I decided to choose this APU rather than e.g. the Pentium G3258 is that the Pentium is a dual core CPU, meaning that despite it's amazing overclocking possibilities it will become outdated much quicker as new games are released. I decided against an i3 due to the fact that hyperthreading is not always effective at all in games adding to the problem of future-proofing.

Thanks for your feedback, I really do appreciate it.
