Newegg Refurbished

Are there any major downsides to buying a refurbished product from Newegg or any retailer, besides having no warranty?

My System Specs: (Short list) i7 4770k, GTX 780, many SSD's, a 2 TB HDD(deceased :( ), Corsair 650D. Full list: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/kchriz6097/saved/8dh7YJ

Upgrade Plan: Acquire some Black Noctuas then add 16 or 32GB of 2133MHz memory

Sometimes it's ok, sometimes it's not really recommended.

I buy refurbished whenever I can and I've never had a problem. 

BTW, that has a one year warranty.

Something like a tablet is a safe buy.

If it hasn't failed in a year it's probably going to last as normal.

Things like closed loop coolers and motherboards.. eh

I wouldn't buy a refurbished motherboard, but I have bought a refurbished H60 for $29 and it's working great.
